From the first day of foundation, along with educational work, the staff of the department conducted scientific studies, which were mainly search-applied nature. The mission of the department of management is the training of highly skilled professionals who gain a solid start to create their own business; master the skills of teamwork, the ability to plan and implement measures to modernize the company, as well as modern methods in the field of personnel management.

The tasks of the department:
- – Transfer basic knowledge in the field of multilevel management to students;
- – to form an economic outlook for students, which creates an adequate idea of modern processes in the field of management based on the practical experience of advanced domestic and foreign enterprises and corporations;
- – to promote the development of skills for students to solve specific administrative tasks based on the application of fundamental knowledge in the field of management and administration in enterprises and public institutions in the conditions of the establishment and functioning of a market economy in Ukraine.
