Olympiad

The Olympiad is held annually to identify, select and support gifted students. And develop and realize the abilities of students, stimulate creative work of students, pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical workers, improve the quality of training, intensify educational and cognitive activities of students, systematic improvement of the educational process.

The Olympiad in the academic discipline is a creative competition in the cycles of technical training of students who study the relevant discipline in the current or graduated last year.

The purpose of the Olympiad

Olympiads are the main types of educational work of students, are held annually in the form of creative competitions in order to:

• increasing students’ interest in the disciplines being studied;
• deepening students’ knowledge, identifying among them the most trained in a particular discipline;
• identification, selection and support of gifted student youth, development and realization of students’ abilities;
• stimulating the creative work of students and research and teaching staff;
• activation of educational and cognitive activity of students;
• improving the quality of training, intensification and improvement of the educational process;
• formation of teams to participate in All-Ukrainian and international competitions in academic disciplines and specialties.
