Аuthor(s) Obydenko H. О., post-graduate student PHEE “European University”

Аnbstract.

Existing approaches to identifying factors influencing and assessing the level of economic security of the enterprise are ambiguous and make it impossible to form a unified methodological approach to assessing and forecasting the level of economic security of the enterprise, according to which there is a need to develop practical recommendations for determining the level of economic security with consideration of risks.
The purpose of the article is to develop practical aspects of determining the level of economic security of an agricultural enterprise by functional components and to develop recommendations for improving its level.
The problem of assessing the level of economic security of agricultural enterprises is in the process of development, which necessitates its comprehensive solution, taking into account current trends in enterprise development, the use of new technologies and problems caused by current crises. There are many approaches in the scientific literature to determine the level of economic security of the enterprise, the main disadvantage of which is not taking into account the characteristics of individual industries, so these methods need constant improvement. We have developed our own methodology for assessing the level of economic security, taking into account both the specifics of the agricultural sector and the risks associated with them. The author presents the results of practical application of the proposed method of assessing the level of economic security of enterprises, as well as components of indicators that allow economic
assessment of the effects of internal and external factors and threats to economic security of the enterprise taking into account unfavorable market environment. Seven components have been identified that characterize the financial, production, personnel, legal, force, market and environmental components of economic security.

Keywords financial component, production component, personnel component, ecological component, market com-
ponent, social component, power component, level of economic security.
