The essence of economic security of agricultural enterprises on the basis of the system approach is investigated in the work. At the same time, the research subjects, the category of economic security and its management are defined as systems. Recommendations for improving the management system of economic security of enterprises are scientifically substantiated, which provide for the expansion of functional subsystems and levers of management, which will ensure economic stability and profitability of agricultural enterprises.
