Title FEATURES OF UKRAINE FARMS DEVELOPMENT

Аbstract The study of such concepts as “farming”, “competitiveness of business structures”, “agribusiness”, etc. remains relevant. Unresolved problem of unification of categories that reflect the dynamics of development of business entities in the agricultural sector. In determining the structure of farming and substantiating a new approach to the characteristics of this category, the analysis of different points of view of agricultural economists plays a decisive role.
Determining the features of the current state of farms will make it possible to determine the main directions and factors of development that allow it to accelerate, or conversely restrain in the event of an increase in their total or individual impact.
The estimation of the current state, trends and main directions of further development of Ukrainian farms is presented. It is proved that the growth of the number of farms in Ukraine is related to the legalization of business and state support for farm activity; agribusiness even on a small to medium scale becomes profitable, and part of the positive dynamics is caused by an organic increase in the number of farms. The absence of radical changes in their dynamics is revealed. identified the main factors hampering the development of farms in the state. To the main problems of functioning of farms, which require a solution in the legal field: the imperfection of the mechanism of long-term lending and taxation of farms; lack of land parcels for efficient management, lack of land management projects regarding ecological and economic justification of crop rotation and landscaping; a large number of documents required for state aid. It has been established that in order to increase the competitiveness of farms, investment activity should cover the introduction of investments in the modernization of production. The necessity of development of farms as one of the main conditions of social and economic development of rural territories and preservation of food and ecological safety of the state is substantiated.
